  • The held block can't be sold twice. The moment a guest starts checkout the slot turns gold for five minutes — no second guest can grab the last room mid-payment.
  • You can see the money, not just the dates. Each block shows paid vs deposit-held, so you know at a glance whose balance still needs chasing before arrival.
